Most Excellent value for Money – Hacienda el Santiscal, Arcos de la Frontera, Andalucia Spain. ‘This hotel is in the running every year – last year it was also nominated for the Reader’s Award – and has many faithful fans. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing and makes guests feel they have stepped into a bygone era. The surrounding fields of sunflowers and other produce seen from all the rooms of this ancient building were once part of the estate, and all in existence before Columbus discovered America. This in itself is pretty “awesome” for most international tourists.
